New to BosMUN, this forum of Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) will make presentations to various committees throughout the conference while delegates serve as specific NGOs. NGOs are organizations such as Amnesty International, Habitat for Humanity, and the Red Cross. NGO Delegates will not only learn the techniques of international lobbying and explore the ethical questions in the field, but will also be able to use these concepts for the benefit of the entire conference. Representing their NGO, delegates will have the ability to influence committee decisions, write editorials to be published in the Press Corps' daily publication, fill out funding requets and reports, and write amicus briefs that will give participants the full and rewarding experience of being an international lobbyist. So, as a delegate in SocHUM, you will see NGO delegates that will be able to come in and influence debate in your committee.
